Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somonauk Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Friday.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-17-1. As for Somonauk, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Illinois Math & Science Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Earlville on the 10th. As for Somonauk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Serena on the 10th.
