Baseball Recap: Whitefish Bay Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

While Whitefish Bay's win against Port Washington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Dukes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Pirates on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in April.

Whitefish Bay's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Port Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
