Softball Recap: Newman International Academy Comes Up Short

Newman International Academy lost against UME Preparatory Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the EAGLES, falling 11-1.

Newman International Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for UME Preparatory Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8-2 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Newman International Academy and UME Preparatory Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Warriors will look to extend Varsity Opponent's six-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, UME Preparatory Academy will try to hand International Leadership of Texas Keller their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
