Soccer Game Preview: Temple Christian vs. Fresta Valley Christian

The Temple Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Temple Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Temple Christian had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt United Christian Academy on Tuesday. Temple Christian put the hurt on United Christian Academy with a sharp 6-0 victory. Temple Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Fresta Valley Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of Appalachian Christian School by a score of 1-0.

Temple Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Fresta Valley Christian, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Temple Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Fresta Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
