It was a good run, but Ranchview unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Community Braves. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 49-29.

When it comes to explaining why Ranchview lost, don't look at Devin Scott. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points and three steals. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Raphael Kalala, who posted three points and five steals.

Ranchview's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Community, their record now sits at 13-8.

Ranchview and Community should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Ranchview (ranked 511th) will meet Hampton Prep (ranked 1416th) at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ranchview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Community (ranked 501st) will meet Wills Point (ranked 1264th) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
