Community waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Zion Christian Academy Eagles 11-1. For the Vikings/Viqueens, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
The team relied heavily on Gracie Daniel, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Mattie Maxey was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
