Baseball Recap: Hayfork Takes a Loss

Hayfork was the 3-2 winner over Plumas Charter when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Timberjacks fell 5-2 to the Warriors on Monday.

Hayfork's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Plumas Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Hayfork will face off against Loyalton at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Timberjacks will need to watch out since the Grizzlies have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Plumas Charter, they will challenge Burney at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.71 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
