Baseball Recap: Montgomery Academy Eagles vs. Saint James Trojans        
        
		
            
 Montgomery Academy has not done well against Saint James recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Montgomery Academy Eagles walked away with  a   6-3  win over the Saint James Trojans. This was a revenge  matchup for Montgomery Academy, as the team was forced to settle for  an  11-7 defeat when these two played  on Thursday.
 Montgomery Academy got a great performance from  Oscar Fiore as he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.  Will Hardin picked up the save,   pitching  an inning while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate,  Rick McBride was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 The  victory  got Montgomery Academy back to even at 8-8. As for Saint James, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Academy will take on Reeltown at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Montgomery Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Saint James will take on Trinity Presbyterian at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
