Basketball Recap: Hillsboro Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Hillsboro came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 71-54 victory over the Cane Ridge Ravens. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-52 back in January.

Several Ravens players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyshaun Poore, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points along with six boards and six steals. Those six steals gave Poore a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Pugh, who went 6 for 11 to rack up 15 points.
