Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Brooks' Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Brooks won the last time they faced Hatton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Brooks Lions took down the Hatton Hornets 60-41. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Hornets are ranked 390th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brooks is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Hatton, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Brooks won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
