Basketball Recap: Lake Braddock Comes Up Short

Lake Braddock lost against West Springfield last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Braddock Bruins fell just short of the West Springfield Spartans by a score of 53-51. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Braddock's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for West Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Lake Braddock and West Springfield could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Lake Braddock (ranked 135th) will meet Woodson (ranked eighth) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Springfield will take on South County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 131 places (222 vs. 91).
