Basketball Recap: Utica Comes Up Short

Utica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Fraser Ramblers 47-17. The matchup marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Malik Cross-Nelson and Owen Sulik, who each put up four points.

Utica's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Fraser, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Utica will take on Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fraser, they will challenge Utica Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
