Recap: Mardela Warriors vs. Parkside Rams
The Mardela Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 79-4 loss at the hands of Parkside. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mardela in their matchups with Parkside: they've now lost seven in a row.
Zion Oge continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkside, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Oge. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie White, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Mardela bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Parkside, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Mardela will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Parkside, they will be playing at home against Bennett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
