Football Recap: Trinity Christian School of Griffin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Trinity Christian School of Griffin and Victory Baptist squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Trinity Christian School of Griffin had to settle for second. They and the Warrior were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 29-28 defeat. That makes it the first time this season the LIONS have let down their home crowd.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Victory Baptist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Baptist, they will square off against CrossPointe Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warrior will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
