Meanwhile, Rancho Dominguez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Carson, falling 8-1.

Rancho Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Narbonne, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-3.

Narbonne beat Rancho Dominguez 2-0 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will Narbonne repeat their success, or does Rancho Dominguez have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
