Basketball Recap: Idalou's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Idalou had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They snuck past the Holliday Eagles with a 46-41 victory. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 59-36 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Idalou has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points per game. As for Holliday, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Idalou wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-40 victory against Christoval on the 28th. As for Holliday, they will head out on the road to square off against Henrietta at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holliday is facing Henrietta at the right time seeing as Henrietta is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
