While Auburn didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs 44-17 on Monday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 26 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Auburn and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Eastern Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Auburn will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fort Chiswell at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
