Basketball Game Preview: Ogallala Indians vs. Broken Bow Indians

Ogallala hasn't had much luck against Broken Bow recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Ogallala Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Broken Bow Indians at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Ogallala came up short against McCook and fell 64-56.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Broken Bow against Lexington on Tuesday as the squad secured a 60-26 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Broken Bow's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Ogallala, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Ogallala came up short against Broken Bow in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 57-48. Can Ogallala avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
