Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss

Lighthouse Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildwood Wolves. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Lighthouse Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-16.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wildwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lighthouse Christian will face off against Panorama at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Wildwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Crossroads on the 21st.
