Hopkins came out on top against Minnetonka on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Royals took their contest against the Skippers 6-3. The win was familiar territory for the Royals, who have now won four matches in a row.

Hopkins pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Minnetonka, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
