Soccer Recap: James Island Takes a Loss

James Island was the 7-0 winner over Cane Bay when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The James Island Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cane Bay Cobras on Saturday.

James Island's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cane Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. James Island will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on March 5th. Cane Bay will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Fort Dorchester at 7:00 p.m. on March 5th.
