Soccer Recap: Columbia City Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Columbia City's offense. They came up short against the Bellmont Braves on Thursday, falling 4-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Columbia City of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia City and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1. As for Bellmont, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Columbia City and Bellmont will both be playing Norwell the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will host the Knights at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Braves will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
