Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Christian Takes a Loss

Jefferson County Christian suffered their biggest defeat since March 22nd on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the David Anderson Blue Devils. The game marked the first time this season in which the Royals were not able to get on the board.

Jefferson County Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lee Gump, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson County Christian and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for David Anderson, their record is now 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County Christian will take on McKinley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for David Anderson, they will face off against Leetonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
