Volleyball Recap: KIPP Legacy Falls Short of Heritage Christian in the Playoffs

KIPP Legacy and Heritage Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but KIPP Legacy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

Heritage Christian can attribute much of their success to Kenley Mitchell, who had nine aces. Those nine aces gave Mitchell a new career-high. Dylan Bonwell was another key player, getting six aces.

KIPP Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

KIPP Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Christel House on the 18th.
