Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waverly/South Shore). They strolled past the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-47. The win was some much needed relief for the Coyotes as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Waverly/South Shore's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah], their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waverly/South Shore will welcome Aberdeen Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aberdeen Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Waverly/South Shore likes a good challenge.
