College Park had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 75-67 victory over the Grand Oaks Grizzlies. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Grizzlies back in December of 2024, they had to take a 66-56 loss.

Leading College Park to victory were Ian Inman and Aiden Buckmon. Inman went 10 of 22 on his way to 26 points, while Buckmon posted 19 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Buckmon a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Mason, who scored ten points and five boards.

College Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Grand Oaks, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 23-7.

College Park and Grand Oaks should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. College Park will take on Willis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 255 places (130 vs. 385). College Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.6 points per game this season. Similarly, Grand Oaks (ranked 83rd) will meet New Caney (ranked 1016th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
