While Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics's win against Providence Athletic Club wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics came out on top in a nail-biter against Providence Athletic Club on Saturday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Rhett Mitchell was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Moss, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Providence Athletic Club, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will square off against Lowcountry Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Providence Athletic Club, they are taking a road trip to face off against Asheville T at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
