            It was a Battle of the Birds when Seaford faced off against Odyssey Charter on Saturday. The Bluejays were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Owls. The  win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won three in a row.

 Vince Evans III was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Seaford's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-9 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  Kalib Thompson and  Ethan Cooper did most of the damage at the plate:  Thompson  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple, while  Cooper  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Thompson a new career-high.  Jhomar Santos also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
Seaford's record now sits at 3-10. As for Odyssey Charter,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-9.
 Coming up, Seaford will face off against McKean at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Odyssey Charter, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  12-2  loss against Mount Pleasant on the 10th.
