Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Franklin finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Chief Sealth Seahawks, falling 16-0. The Quakers have struggled against the Seahawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Chief Sealth, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Ingraham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chief Sealth will challenge rival Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
