After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Viera, Merritt Island was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Space Coast Vipers with a sharp 3-0 win. Merritt Island have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Space Coast, too.

Merritt Island hit Space Coast with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Heide Trout, Liana Merbitz, and Brooklyn Auriema.

The victory got Merritt Island back to even at 3-3-2. As for Space Coast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Merritt Island will head out to face off against Viera at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Viera will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Merritt Island surely won't give up without a fight. As for Space Coast, they will venture away from home to take on Mount Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
