Volleyball Recap: Barrett Lacouture's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Myers Park over Hough + How To Watch

Myers Park lost against Hough back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Myers Park had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Myers Park lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Barrett Lacouture, who had 15 assists and six digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lizzie Crawford, who had nine digs and four assists.

Myers Park's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Hough, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Myers Park will welcome South Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hough, they will head out to square off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
