Softball Game Preview: Kingston Buccaneers vs. Sequim Wolves

Kingston and Sequim are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Buccaneers will welcome the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sequim took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kingston, who comes in off a win.

Kingston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-8 margin over Chimacum on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, Sequim was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Port Angeles, falling 12-3.

The victory got Kingston back to even at 4-4. As for Sequim, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Kingston's way against Sequim in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Kingston made off with a 24-5 win. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
