Basketball Recap: Arleta Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Arleta extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping them down to 1-5. They fell 65-56 to the San Fernando Tigers. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

As for San Fernando, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games.

Omar Chavez had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 33 points and seven boards. Eric Dominguez was another key player, earning 12 points and four steals.

Looking ahead, Arleta will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against WISH Academy at 4:00 p.m. As for San Fernando, they will take on Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
