Softball Recap: West Florida Takes a Loss

West Florida was the 2-1 winner over Jay when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals on Tuesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Florida's record now sits at 9-8. As for Jay, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, West Florida will challenge Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jay, they will face off against Gulf Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
