After a string of three wins, Saratoga Springs's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They fell  8-3 to the Colonie Central Wolfpack. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
 Jack Rigabar was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Furthermore,  he didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  he has blanked an opponent since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Rigabar wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Adam Weiss, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
Saratoga Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Colonie Central, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saratoga Springs will venture away from home to  face off against Niskayuna  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. The  match will  give the Blue Streaks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Colonie Central, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Kingston  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
