Football Game Preview: Joseph Eagles vs. Harper Hornets

The Joseph Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Harper Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Joseph 9.3, Harper 0) so any points scored will be well earned.

Joseph barely beat Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler with a sharp 39-18 win on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Harper played against Wallowa on Friday and won via forfeit.

Joseph's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Harper, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Joseph took a serious blow against Harper in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 48-7. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
