Volleyball Recap: Fort Atkinson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fort Atkinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Memorial Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackhawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Fort Atkinson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.

Fort Atkinson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Madison Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-16.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fort Atkinson is set to square off against their familiar foe Madison East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Madison Memorial will take on rival Madison West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
