Basketball Recap: Fallbrook Skates Past Orange Glen with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fallbrook). They claimed a resounding 105-48 victory over the Orange Glen Patriots. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Leading Fallbrook to victory were Petey Pizzo and Elliott Watkins. Pizzo almost dropped a double-double on 30 points and nine assists, while Watkins went 14 of 22 on his way to 29 points along with eight assists and five boards. The matchup was Watkins' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Jones, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points.

Fallbrook's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.2 points. As for Orange Glen, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallbrook will face off against Canyon Crest Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Canyon Crest Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Orange Glen, they will take on Del Lago Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
