Big game from Doane as Smith Center fell 58-45
Ean Doane's big game on Friday left him with a new season-high in steals. As a matter of fact, he turned in his best performance of the season, scoring eight points along with two steals. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Monday's game, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.
Doane and Smith Center will head out on the road to face off against Russell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Doane's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Smith Center's three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak snapped, Doane and Smith Center surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
