Soccer Game Preview: Spruce vs. Wilson + Official Tickets

The Spruce Timberwolves will head out on the road to square off against the Wilson Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Spruce has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight defeats, while Wilson will come in with four straight victories.

Spruce fell victim to Adams and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Wilson made sure to put some goals up on the board against West Mesquite on Monday. They came out on top against the Wranglers by a score of 4-2. Given Wilson's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while West Mesquite are ranked 341st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spruce's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-3.

Spruce might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Wilson in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Timberwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
