Baseball Game Preview: Fort Stockton Panthers vs. Randall Raiders

For the second straight game, Fort Stockton will face off against Randall. The Panthers will face off against the Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Stockton's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five contests, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fort Stockton heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They fell just short of Randall by a score of 3-2.

Fort Stockton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gerry Diaz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Alonso Urias also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Randall, bringing their record up to 21-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Stockton, they now have a losing record of 14-15.
