Baseball Game Preview: Holy Cross Tigers vs. Warren Easton Fighting Eagles

The Holy Cross Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Cross' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Warren Easton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Holy Cross is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: Jesuit, who was ranked 13th at the time (Holy Cross was ranked sixth). Holy Cross fell 6-1 to Jesuit on Tuesday.

Warren Easton's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Holy Cross, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-3 record this season.
