Softball Recap: Seminole Ridge Takes a Loss

Seminole Ridge's last matchup with Wellington could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Hawks lost 10-2 to the Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Seminole Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wellington, their record now sits at 14-4.

Seminole Ridge and Wellington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Hawks (ranked 188th) will meet Forest Hill (ranked 458th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wellington will square off against Dwyer at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 146).
