Softball Preview: Warren Dragons vs. General McLane Lancers
The Warren Dragons will head out on the road to square off against the General McLane Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Warren is leaving town to face General McLane after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Warren wound up on the wrong side of a tough 13-0 walloping at the hands of Cathedral Prep last Tuesday.
Meanwhile, General McLane earned a 16-11 win over Erie on Tuesday.
Korryn Kinder made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Kinder was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Haven Teed was a standout: she went 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. Makayla Rapela was another key contributor, scoring four runs while going 3-for-4.
