Community School of Naples is leaving town to face Everglades City after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Community School of Naples lost 16-1 to Babcock on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, everything went Everglades City's way against Island Coast on Tuesday as Everglades City made off with a 16-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Everglades City.

Ava Ramos and Gena Collins did most of the damage at the plate: Ramos scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Collins went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Olivia Demere was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Community School of Naples took their victory against Everglades City in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Community School of Naples since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
