Softball Recap: Northfield Nighthawks vs. Fairview Knights
Northfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Fairview Knights, falling 17-6.
Northfield saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlynn Elizabeth Boyd, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Fairview is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
