Soccer Game Preview: West Chicago vs. Willowbrook

The West Chicago Wildcats will take on the Willowbrook Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

West Chicago is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering South Elgin just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm.

Meanwhile, Willowbrook came up short against Berwyn/Cicero Morton on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Willowbrook haven't had much luck with Berwyn/Cicero Morton recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Willowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for West Chicago, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-5.

West Chicago skirted past Willowbrook 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
