Football Recap: Out-Of-Door Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Out-of-Door Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Cambridge Christian Lancers on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 victory. This was payback for the Thunder, who suffered a 59-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Allen Clark was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 172 yards and three scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Out-of-Door Academy's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Jake Beasley and Alex Falu, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.

Despite the defeat, Cambridge Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah LeGrande rushed for 131 yards. Reid Levine also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.

Out-of-Door Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cambridge Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Out-of-Door Academy will welcome Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cambridge Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m.
