Soccer Recap: Eastern Hills Takes a Loss

Eastern Hills managed to keep up with Diamond Hill-Jarvis until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eastern Hills Highlanders came up short against the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles, falling 4-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

Eastern Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Coming up, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when Eastern Hills and Southwest meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they will challenge Benbrook at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Diamond Hill-Jarvis has won five straight at home, while Benbrook won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
