Volleyball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Gilmer on Monday, Northwest Whitfield came back down to earth. The Bruins came up short against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bruins have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-15.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up six kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 11 assists.

Northwest Whitfield's loss dropped their record down to 26-14. As for Calhoun, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-9 record this season.

Northwest Whitfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calhoun, they will welcome LaFayette at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
